Recently, the Intelligent Grassland and Animal Husbandry Equipment Research Team at Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, in collaboration with relevant enterprises, developed the Model 2QBC-2.1 Grassland Root-Cutting Reseeder. This innovation aims to facilitate low-disturbance reseeding and restoration of degraded grasslands. The core seeding unit module integrated into this equipment was supplied by Hubei Yongxiang Agricultural Machinery. Yongxiang’s seeding module features pneumatic seed delivery and radar-based speed detection capabilities; it ensures uniform and smooth seed distribution without clogging the delivery tubes. The radar system allows for real-time monitoring of operational speed and dynamic adjustment of the seeding rate, effectively resolving the issue of uneven seedling emergence—a common problem in traditional reseeding operations—and is perfectly adapted to the specific working conditions of grasslands.

This collaborative project fully demonstrates the practical value of Yongxiang Agricultural Machinery’s modular design philosophy. Yongxiang’s seeding modules are highly versatile and compatible across multiple platforms, requiring no complex modifications for integration. They can be paired with grassland root-cutting reseeders for sowing forage seeds, or flexibly retrofitted onto various other types of agricultural machinery—such as rice transplanters for sowing rice, or rotary tillers for sowing wheat, soybeans, sorghum, and other crops—thereby catering to diverse operational scenarios and client requirements.
